Brown & Associates collects the information you choose to submit through our contact, subscription, and access request forms so we can respond to your inquiry and provide requested services.

Information We Collect

Form submissions may include your name, company, email address, phone number, service interest, and message details. We may also receive basic technical information such as browser type and referral source through standard hosting and analytics tools.

How We Use Information

We use submitted information to respond to requests, evaluate service needs, communicate with prospects and clients, and improve the website experience. We do not sell personal information.

STIP Product Analytics

When you use the STIP research tool, we record first-party usage events (for example, that a question was submitted or an answer was generated) along with non-identifying metadata such as jurisdiction, research topic, and answer confidence. The text of your research questions is not stored by this analytics system.

If you are signed in to a STIP account, these events also include pseudonymous identifiers derived from your account and your organization's email domain using one-way cryptographic hashes. Authorized Brown & Associates personnel may use a restricted internal dashboard that associates authenticated activity with your account email. Email is kept separate from raw usage events and is excluded from broad telemetry exports, aggregate digests, logs, and public pages. Events recorded before you sign in remain anonymous. We use this information to improve answer quality and coverage; we do not sell it or share it outside Brown & Associates.
